The collection comprises twelve photographs of a Vietnamese New Year celebration hosted by the Vietnamese Students Association on February 20, 1985 at the Campus Center, University of Massachusetts Amherst. In addition to listing sponsors, speakers, performers, and sequence of events, the program describes ancestor worship, the legend of the earth and the sky cakes, the menu for the event, and some song lyrics.
