Scope and Contents of the Collection

The Faith M. Clooney Papers consist of a photograph album, her obituary, and a photograph of her. The material chiefly relates to her years as a Mount Holyoke College student, 1933-1937. The album contains photographs of students, events at the College, and the interior and exterior of campus buildings. Of note are photographs of events during Mount Holyoke's 100th anniversary celebration in 1937 and the interior of dormitory rooms. There are also photographs of students on Mountain Day and at Senior Town House. The formal photograph of Clooney was taken during her senior year at Mount Holyoke. The collection also includes an obituary for her, 1998.
