Autograph books, registers, record books and logs relating to Amherst College students, alumni, administration and various College events and topics from the founding of the College to 1919.
Organization of the Collection
The items in the collection are a mixture of single volumes devoted to a single topic and multiple volume sets. Volumes are arranged by date, with sets maintained together.
There is no restriction on access to the Amherst College 19th Century Record Books for research use. Particularly fragile items may be restricted for preservation purposes.
