            <head>History of the Marian Library</head>
            <p>The Marian Library was established in 1943 by Marianists at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. The library contains a comprehensive collection of research materials on Mary (including print, visual, and multimedia) and aims to promote study, research, and devotion. The library maintains a website, The Mary Page, which may be found at 
                <extref ns2:title="The Mary Page" ns2:href="http://campus.udayton.edu/mary/">themarypage.org</extref>.</p>
            <p>The mouth and foot artists Christmas card collection was assembled by Brother William Fackovec, a member of the Marian Library staff.</p>

            <head>Scope and Contents</head>
            <p>This collection contains Marian Christmas cards that represent work by artists who, due to disability that prohibits them from using their hands, use their mouth or foot to create original artwork. All of the cards are Christmas themed and include the Blessed Virgin Mary. Most of the collection is lithographs and various prints of original paintings or drawings.</p>
            <p>The majority of cards were published by The Mouth and Foot Painting Artists and the Association of Handicapped Artists.</p>

            <p>Cards are arranged alphabetically, by artist's last name.</p>
